Well, last Sunday Papa, Mama & Adik came by to visit Aqeef (as usual). This time, Papa & Mama brought kuih pau ayam with black pepper sauce (yummm~) and a cake. I managed to convinced my mom to let me have a taste of the pau ayam...and i tell u, for 26days of eating nothing but "lauk berpantang", that pau ayam tasted like heaven!!! but the cake, i'm d one who's afraid of eating it (takut maaa...kata nk jaga badan)
Then Papa mentioned to Abi & me, that he planned to have Aqeef's aqiqah over at our Subang house in 3weeks time. I'm ok with that idea, even though on that particular day marks my last day of confinement (its my 44th day by d way) but nonetheless, i agreed.
In my mind, i've been thinking of sooooooooooooo many things to do for that day...i've even had it planned way before Aqeef was born actually..but since i'm still in ICU (Intensive Confinement Unit, as Faeeza mentioned it) all my plans seems like impossible.
I've planned to
1. order some cakes/cupcakes from one of my friends
2. do a poster of Aqeef from pre-born until now
3. buy some blue balloons just for decorations
4. search a cute baju melayu for Aqeef that matches our suits
5. do a scrap book for him
6. do a scrap book of our wedding day for Abi (this is out of the content, but it's still on my to-do list - been pending for 10months now! crap!)
7. complete our wedding album (THAT also has been pending for over 10months now!)
I know, all of it is doable, but i feel pity for Abi, running around doing all my chores for me. If only i'm out of this ICU, i bet u, i can get everything done.
for now, i just want to focus on the first four items in my above list. hopefully everything can be done prior to the event date. With my list of no-no-no's during confinement by my mom, it'll be a miracle if i can get the poster done.
i'll put on a new post on the no-no-no's during confinement in my next post, i promise.
